Welcome to my urban farming blog. My goal is to make sustainability more accessible for people with little to no experience in gardening, farming, building, or fixing. I'm a lifelong DIY-er who lives on a postage stamp size parcel of land in the middle of a fairly well-heeled suburb. As the resident hillbilly, I like to think that what I lack in polish or "better homes and gardens" landscaping, I make up for in my ability to lift heavy things, fix most stuff, and provide my neighbors with free eggs. And let's be honest, it's only the last one that really adds value to the neighborhood!
